Mom and I have taken a couple of bike rides lately. We want to enjoy as many of them as we can before the weather turns cold. One time we stopped at a gas station here in town where they serve ice cream. Mom and I went out to a picnic table outside the station and enjoyed our treats.
Like the hat? I have a thing about unicorns. I actually have a pet unicorn named Bella. Only I can see or feel her, but I love her so much. She moved with us from Washington! I guess she must have galloped all the way here.
Actually, I like unicorns so much that sometimes I dress up like one! This was something I did a week or two ago. What do you think? I was a unicorn princess!
Anyway, the purple hat came from Fonk's here in town. I'll have to take some pictures there sometime. I love that place! It's a little resale shop, or thrift store, or whatever you want to call it. And it's like a never-ending garage sale. There's always cool new stuff to look through, and everything is pretty cheap. My dad got a huge book the last time he was there for something like a dollar. Some Russian dude named Tolstoy. He says it's called Anna Karenina. Right now he's reading this massive book by some other Russian guy named Solzhenitsyn (he spelled that). The Gulag Archipelago. Some of the chapters, he said, are like 70 pages long. I guess Russian writers have a lot to say.
Then today, I talked my mom and dad into driving out to Coeur d'Alene. We used to go there a lot, but not so much now that there's a mask mandate in Kootenai County. Not that most people pay any attention to it, but it still stresses Mom and Dad out, and some of the stores can be really stupid about all the mask stuff. But we had to go grocery shopping, and Super 1 out in CDA doesn't give people any grief about masking. So we go there every few weeks anyway. And while we were out there, I thought maybe we could go to Target, because they have a big toy section.
Mom and Dad found some cool board games. I'll talk about those some other time. But this is what I found, and I am in love!
I collect Squishmallow plushies, but this is the biggest one I've ever seen! IT IS SO FAT! I LOVE FAT THINGS!
I call him Fatacorn. He's almost as big as me! Mom and Dad said I have to do some chores to work him off before I can buy anything else, but that's OK. He's totally worth it.
